With more than two decades as a criminal defense attorney, Fred Rosenberg has successfully represented clients in hundreds of criminal matters from Murder in the Second Degree, to misdemeanor cases, and numerous other complex and serious felony offenses.

My experience ranges from advising individuals who are witness’s, targets or subjects of grand jury investigations, to representing clients through indictment proceedings, pre-trial litigation, plea negotiation phases, as well as at trial.

Even though plea bargaining has become the essence of criminal justice in the United States, Fred’s law office’s culture is rooted in fighting to defend his client’s rights. In certain cases to bring closure and end the litigation with the most beneficial outcome possible, it is in the best interest of the client to accept a favorable plea resolution. However, that is rarely ever Fred’s starting point. He is never hesitant to hold the government prosecutors accountable to meet their burden of proof after alleging any criminal accusation or charge.

In representing thousands of individuals accused of crimes, Fred is mindful of the personal stress and financial burdens to his clients while fighting the charges. He founded the Rosenberg Law Office with the goal of providing outstanding criminal defense representation at lower costs than traditional firms. Sensitive to the financial needs of different individuals, Fred is dedicated to his clients’ best interests, including reducing legal fees in many cases for clients with more limited income and resources.

His commitment to a client-centered practice of law focuses on taking the time to fully grasp the client’s situation, including their emotional and physical needs, financial concerns, and desired outcome in the case. Understanding the client’s goals and needs enables Fred to develop a more targeted and effective legal strategy.

Of great importance to Fred, is to create a respectful and strong attorney-client relationship, with open communication and addressing client’s questions and concerns in a supportive, informative and compassionate way.

New York City is full of good people. It is my honor to be called upon for representation.
