In New York County, the District Attorney’s Office charged my client with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, an A Felony and Criminal Possession with Intent to Sell, a class B Felony offense. The prosecution alleged that my client possessed and concealed approximately four ounces of cocaine in his jacket. Following extensive litigation, my defense resulted in the A Felony and B Felony charges being dismissed. My client pled guilty to a misdemeanor and received a non-incarceratory sentence.
