Motion to Vacate Conviction Granted
In New York County, the District Attorney’s Office charged a young man with 2 Felony counts of Burglary. He was represented by an attorney who advised him to plead guilty to the 2 Felony counts of Burglary and he received a sentence of incarceration for a maximum of 3 years. After he pled guilty and was incarcerated, he retained my office to represent him with the goal of vacating his guilty plea, conviction and sentence. I promptly filed an extensive motion to vacate and requested a prompt hearing. The court granted my motion in its entirety, released my client from prison and restored his rights to be presumed innocent and fight the charges.
